  Schaefer label cementer machines have a stainless steel coating roller and glue tank, and has a simple dial control to set the glue application thickness.

The MS machines also have the versatility to apply a variety of adhesives such as vegetable glue, PVA and EVA resin cement, and casein glue.

It is designed for fast glue application and easy cleanup, and is ideal for labeling short runs.

 Label Cementer MS is used for gluing paper labels, and applies a thin layer of adhesive to the back surface of a paper label. This gluing machine can be used for the application of water base adhesive such as vegetable glue, PVA and EVA resin cement, and casein glue. It is designed for fast glue application and easy cleanup, and is ideal for labeling short runs.

The MS label cementing machine has a stainless steel coating roller and glue tank, and has a simple dial control to set the glue application thickness. The dial adjusts the position of a doctor blade that wipes excess glue off the coating roller and returns it to the glue tank.

This allows precision adjustment of adhesive coating thickness. To clean the machine the entire coating head is removed, and can be soaked in the cleanup tank provided with the machine. The glue tank is sealed with a tight fitting cover while the coating head is off.

Typical application is found in gluing labels for wineries, breweries, specialty foods, paints, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and agricultural products.
 

 
 Sheet Cementers
 
Sheet Cementers are adhesive roller coating machines that are used to apply a thin layer of adhesive to the bottom surface of sheet materials. The primary application for this type of cementing machine is gluing of large labels or printed sheets for mounting to corrugated, chipboard, or foam core board.

Sheet cementing machines are available with several different feed roller arrangements for application of adhesive to parts from paper thickness to 4" thick, and are available in coating roller widths from 18" to 50".

These machines can apply almost any type of water base adhesive - including latex cement. They are equipped with a low speed glue pickup roller which minimizes adhesive foaming.

Sheet cementing machines have stainless steel adhesive tanks, coating roller and feed rollers, and are designed for quick cleanup. The glue tank slides out of the machine and is covered to keep the adhesive from drying. A wash tank then is slid into the machine and the rolls cleaned with water. Cleanup can be done in about 5 minutes.

Sheet cementers are most commonly used to apply adhesive to printed sheets for the creation of attractive packaging as well as point of purchase display materials. They can also be used for poster and print mounting, photo mounting, and for glue application to materials such as chipboard, corrugated, plastics, foam, rubber and fabrics.
