Datco Hot Melt Roll Coaters

Datco Hot melt Roll Coaters are a great alternative to hand held and bulk delivery systems. Their basic construction is a turning cylinder in a heated reservoir with a knife "Doctor Blade" which removes all but the desired amount of adhesive. This simple construction allows the user to have both hands free for application and placement. Datco's unique "EZ-Just" cam actuated doctor blade makes adjusting applied glue levels a cinch.

Datco BasicRoll

The Datco "Basic" Hot Roll uses the same roll and reservoir as the full featured Hot Roll. The difference is the drive and temperature control package. The basic machine has a constant speed Brother International GTR gear motor, and a Fenwell electronic analog temperature control. The control panel is simple and straight forward. An illuminated main power switch, a motor start stop switch, and a knob to set the temperature. As with all Datco roll coaters, there is an electronic under temperature circuit to prevent the motor from attempting to run until the unit has achieved set point temperature.

Datco HotRoll

Although the Hot Roll Series shares the same roll and reservoir as the Basic Roll, there are several differences that make this machine a great value. The Hot Roll features Brother International AC gear motors and Minarik VFD electronic variable frequency drives for variable speeds. The temperature is controlled by an Omron Microprocessor with a digital display. This roller also has under temperature protection. The Hot Roll Series comes in two styles to help meet your specific needs. The Tabletop Hot Roll comes in lengths for 6, 12, 18 inches. This model is ideal for a fix assembly location. The Mounted Rolls are available in 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 inch lengths. These rolls can be mounted on a work bench type table or on a rolling service cart allowing for maximum flexibility in meeting your needs. Mounted rolls feature remote control panel boxes and chain drives with the motor mounted beneath the unit.

Datco BigRoll

Datco's Big Roll is the granddaddy of them all. With a 4 1/2" diameter roll, additional heating power, large reservoirs, and a 35# chain, the Big Roll is ready to take on almost any project. The Big Roll does share some features with the Hot Roll such as Brother International AC gear motors and Minarik VFD electronic variable frequency drives for variable speeds. The temperature is also controlled by an Omron Microprocessor which provides under temperature protection. In addition, the Big Roll has a unique "EZ-Just" cam actuated doctor blade.
